She is one of the most well-known athletes in American the history of sports. She's among only six women to have won the five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. She was the winner of 82 World Cups. World-class athlete and one of America's most experienced ski racers, she has decided to retire after the World Championships that take place in Sweden. The athlete retired following a lengthy list of ailments. She announced her retirement on social media. Next week I'll compete in the final race during my racing career.
